Nora Ned McBride has always been a dog lover. Being a writer and artist came later. And so did her love of France and all things French. Most of her work has been adult non-fiction; this departure into children’s literature with non-human characters in human situations brings together all the worlds we all inhabit, seen from the always logical, but always loving, dog’s point of view.
